UVA rays from the sun penetrate deeply into the skin causing it to age, whilst UVB rays penetrate the surface layers causing sunburn, and can contribute to causing skin cancer. The advanced formula in all SolarSafe sunscreens provides protection against both types of harmful radiation.

Free from DEET®! Our natural, chemical-free Cedar and Lemongrass-based formula is proven to be as effective against insects as DEET. This means you can have protection from the sun and insects without the chemical repellent DEET which concerns many people.

| Waterproof and sweat proof |

Our sunscreen formula is based on a single, non-water-soluble emulsifier. Applied to cool skin, it emulsifies only once. If it comes into contact with water or sweat later, the sunscreen will not come out of the skin.

Better than oil-based sunscreens |
|
Oil based sunscreens are heavy and clog your skin's pores. Our formula's natural Aloe Vera base means the sunscreen is quickly absorbed into the skin, bonding to the top layers to provide long-lasting sun protection without clogging your pores.
Aloe Vera has the same pH as human skin, and provides moisturizing characteristics and acts as a soothing agent.
Being natural, SolarSafe sunscreen products will not stain your clothes, won't sting your eyes, and allow your skin to perspire naturally and stay cooler.

As our sunscreens are non oil-based you can simply apply and continue fishing, swimming, snorkelling, or diving without transferring oily residue to water and equipment.
Unlike most sunscreens, our formula is approved for use in natural marine habitats. It won't contaminate marine life and is bio-degradable.
Anglers continue to tell us that "they wouldn't fish with anything else". It's great because it won't deteriorate fly lines or monofilaments, won't harm marine life and can be used in protected water habitats.
